Fixed price or time and materials?
When the scope is clearly defined, we prefer to work at a fixed price. You know in advance what the project will cost, and we carry the risk of the estimate.
For projects that are meant to evolve along the way – such as an MVP that is being tested on the market – billing on a time-and-materials basis is often fairer. You pay for the work actually performed and receive a monthly report.

Ongoing costs: hosting, maintenance and further development
Software isn’t finished at launch. Operating systems, frameworks and browsers keep evolving, security vulnerabilities come to light, and your company has new ideas. That is why you should plan for ongoing costs in addition to the project budget.
These include hosting, fees for external services where applicable, and maintenance and support. Starter includes 3 months of support, Professional 6 months. After that, we offer monthly maintenance contracts – so updates, security patches and minor adjustments stay predictable.
Funding options for digitalization projects
For digitalization projects in Germany, there are regularly funding programs from the federal government, the federal states or other bodies – for example for consulting, software or IT security. Which programs are currently running and whether your company meets the requirements changes regularly.
On request, we check whether funding might be an option for your project and point it out to you. We cannot guarantee approval – that decision rests solely with the funding body. Often the application must be submitted before the contract is awarded. This note does not replace funding or legal advice.
