Have an app developed: your app agency for iOS and Android

The smartphone is the most important tool for your customers and employees – your own app makes your company directly reachable there. In app development, we support you from the first idea to publication in the App Store and on Google Play. We build customer apps with ordering and booking functions, employee apps for field service and standalone app products for new business models.

01

On the technical side, we choose the route that fits your project. With cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter, one codebase produces an app for both iOS and Android – saving development and maintenance effort. If your app needs intensive device features or special performance, we build natively with Swift and Kotlin. Camera, GPS, push notifications, Bluetooth and offline mode we implement in both approaches.

02

From our own experience we know that an app is not finished at store release. Among other things, we have developed an app for service technicians with offline synchronization, the driving school app FahrSchein Hero and the language apps from LingoMaxx. Again and again it shows: new iOS and Android versions, changed store guidelines and user feedback require regular updates. That's why we plan maintenance and further development in from the start.

03

Anyone who wants to have an app developed rarely just wants someone to write the code. What's needed is an app agency that thinks target audience, feature scope and technology together and keeps supporting the app after the store release. Nano Concepts accompanies you from idea to launch – for customer apps with ordering or booking functions as well as for employee apps used in the field. With cross-platform frameworks, we develop iOS and Android apps from a shared codebase.

04

Whether you have your own app programmed or want to create an app for your business: the cost of app development depends mainly on features, platforms and backend. That's why we first define a first version with the most important features, one that gets into the store quickly and delivers real user feedback. You receive the exact quote after the free initial consultation. Our experience comes, among other things, from an app for service technicians with offline synchronization and the driving school app FahrSchein Hero.

Have an app programmed – our services at a glance

Apps for iOS and Android – from concept and design through development to publishing in the stores.

App concept & feature scope

We define target group, core features and a first version (MVP) that gets into the store quickly and delivers real user feedback.

UI & UX design

Together with LOMA DESIGN we create screens and clickable prototypes that follow the interaction patterns of iOS and Android.

Cross-platform or native development

React Native, Flutter or native with Swift and Kotlin – depending on what device features and performance your app needs.

Backend, login & push

User accounts, data synchronization, push notifications and interfaces to your existing systems.

Store publishing

We prepare store listings, screenshots and privacy information and support you through review by Apple and Google.

Updates & maintenance

Adaptations to new operating system versions, bug fixing, crash analysis and new features after launch.

Your benefits

Why companies choose us

A direct channel to your users

Your app sits on the home screen and reaches users by push notification – no detour via search engines or advertising.

Two platforms, one codebase

With cross-platform development you reach iOS and Android users without having to maintain two separate apps.

Works offline too

Data is stored locally and synchronized as soon as a connection is available again – important for basements, construction sites and dead zones.

Everything from a single source

Concept, design, app, backend and store support are handled by one team. You have one contact for everything.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Mobile app development

That depends on features, platforms and backend. We usually build native or cross-platform apps with user accounts, database and interfaces in the Professional package from €8,000. A simple web app as an entry point is possible in the Starter package from €2,500; extensive app platforms are quoted individually in the Enterprise package.

Depending on scope, a first version with the most important features can be in the store within a few months. Add to that the review by Apple and Google, which can bring follow-up questions. You will receive a reliable schedule after the initial consultation.

After the free initial consultation we define the feature scope of the first version, design a prototype and develop in stages with test builds on your device. After that we handle the store submission and continue to support the app after launch.

For many business apps, cross-platform with React Native or Flutter is more economical because one codebase serves both platforms. Native development with Swift and Kotlin pays off for very high performance requirements or special device features. We recommend the route after analyzing your requirements.

We recommend publishing the app through your company's own developer account with Apple and Google. That way the store listing, reviews and user base stay with you permanently. We help you set up the accounts.

Apple and Google release new operating system versions every year, which may require adaptations. We take care of updates, error analysis and new features – predictably under a maintenance contract if you wish.

You don't need a finished requirements specification. A short description of your target audience, the problem the app should solve and the features without which it makes no sense is helpful. Examples of apps you like help as well – we work out the rest together in the initial consultation and when defining the first version.

A freelancer can fit clearly scoped tasks or work as reinforcement for an existing team. An app, however, usually consists of design, app development, backend, store publishing and ongoing updates – here an agency covers more and doesn't depend on a single person. At Nano Concepts, design and development come from a single source together with LOMA DESIGN.

For apps aimed at customers, both platforms are usually important so you don't exclude anyone. For internal employee apps, one platform can be enough if everyone works with the same devices. With cross-platform development we serve iOS and Android from one codebase, so the second platform doesn't mean double the development effort.

Yes. Employee apps bundle things like jobs, photo documentation, time tracking or internal information and are connected to your existing systems. An example from our practice is an app for service technicians that also works without a network and syncs data later.

The biggest lever is a clearly limited feature scope for the first version: anything not strictly necessary follows later on the basis of real user data. Cross-platform development saves additional effort, and sometimes a progressive web app without a store is the more economical entry point. We advise you openly on this in the free initial consultation.
