A short description of your product or idea is enough to get started.

UX design agency for software, apps and portals

UI/UX design decides whether software is gladly used in everyday work or merely tolerated. UX stands for user experience – that is, whether people reach their goal quickly and without detours. UI is the interface through which this happens: buttons, forms, tables, navigation. The two belong together, and both can be validated before anything is programmed.

01

Our approach starts with the people who use the product: we talk to employees, customers or field service staff, observe workflows and collect the points where things get stuck today. From this come user flows, wireframes and clickable prototypes in Figma, which we test with real users – long before a change becomes expensive.

02

Design is handled by our partner agency LOMA DESIGN at the same location, implementation by Nano Concepts. As a result, the design takes into account from the start what makes technical sense, and development receives components, states and spacing cleanly documented. The result is suitable for web applications, mobile apps, dashboards and customer portals alike – and can be extended consistently with every new release.

03

As a UX design agency, we work hand in hand with LOMA DESIGN: our partner agency designs, Nano Concepts develops – both at the same location. For you, that means good UI/UX design doesn't fail at implementation, because components, states and spacing are documented for development from the start. Whether you are looking for an app design agency for a new product or want to improve existing software: we start with the people who use it every day.

04

Many companies want to have a prototype created before investing in development. A clickable prototype in Figma shows early on whether workflows are understandable and can be tested with real users. For existing software, a UX audit or a usability test uncovers the biggest hurdles. The cost of UI/UX design depends on scope – from a compact prototype to a design system for several products. Your benefits

Why companies choose us

Find mistakes in the prototype, not in the code

An unclear workflow is quickly corrected in a prototype – in finished software, the same change often requires adjustments in many places.

Less training and support

Understandable workflows reduce follow-up questions, input errors and the onboarding time for new employees.

Design that can be implemented

Because LOMA DESIGN and Nano Concepts work at the same location, designs are technically well thought out from the start.

Consistency across all screens

A design system ensures that new features look and behave like the rest of the product.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about UI/UX design

A compact prototype for a website, a tool or an app idea is possible in the Starter package from €2,500. Comprehensive user research, several test rounds and a complete design system for a piece of software are usually in the Professional package from €8,000; large product landscapes we price individually as Enterprise. UI/UX design can be commissioned on its own or as part of a development project.

For manageable products, a few weeks are often enough from the first interviews to the tested prototype. For complex software, we plan several iterations and can design individual areas in parallel with development.

UX describes the entire user experience: whether workflows are logical and people reach their goal. UI is the visible interface with layout, colors, typography and controls. Good products need both – which is why we work on them together.

Even experienced designers cannot predict how every target group will react. Even a few tests with real users typically uncover the biggest hurdles – much cheaper than fixing them after launch.

Yes. We design with sufficient contrast, clear focus states, understandable error messages and keyboard operability, guided by the WCAG guidelines. Whether and to what extent legal requirements such as the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) apply to your product should be reviewed legally – this note does not replace legal advice.

After the free initial consultation come user research, user flows and wireframes, followed by a clickable prototype with testing. LOMA DESIGN designs the final interfaces, and the handover to development takes place with a design system and specification.

User experience helps decide whether customers submit an inquiry or complete a purchase, and whether employees enjoy using software. Confusing workflows lead to drop-offs, support queries and input errors. Considering UX early avoids costly changes after launch.

A clickable prototype simulates an app or software without any programming: screens are linked, and buttons and navigation respond as in the finished product. This lets you test ideas with users, convince decision-makers and give development a clear blueprint. We create prototypes in Figma and share them via link.

A design system is a collection of reusable components, colors, fonts and rules that design and development use together. It pays off as soon as several products, teams or channels should present themselves consistently or software is extended regularly. New features are then built faster and stay consistent.

In a UX audit, experts evaluate an existing website, app or software against recognized criteria and document weaknesses with priorities. In a usability test, real users solve typical tasks while we observe where they get stuck. The two complement each other: the audit quickly finds known problems, the test shows the actual behavior of your target audience.

Yes. We design interfaces for mobile apps and take Apple's and Google's design guidelines into account so that the app feels familiar on both platforms. On request, Nano Concepts then builds the app directly, so design and development come from a single source.
