Retail & E-Commerce: software that fits your workflows

Customers expect availability, price and delivery time to be accurate – in your physical store, in your online store and on marketplaces. That's why software for retail must above all do one thing: reliably sync data between POS, inventory management and sales channels. Where this happens manually, you get overselling, wrong prices and unnecessary work in customer service.

01

Nano Concepts develops online stores with Shopware and other systems, B2B ordering portals with customer-specific pricing, and interfaces to ERP, POS systems and shipping providers. One example from our work is a B2B wholesale portal with price groups, warehouse integration and ERP connection, through which business customers order more than 5,000 items digitally – without manual steps all the way to further processing. For your team, that means less retyping, fewer follow-up questions and faster deliveries.

02

Design, branding and online marketing are handled by our partner agency LOMA DESIGN at the same location – so design and development come from a single source. For store networks, we roll out new POS or back-office technology across Germany together with our IT service partners, location by location and outside business hours. That way, sales continue during the changeover, and your team finds working workstations the next morning.

Challenges

Typical challenges in Retail & E-Commerce

We hear these topics again and again in conversations with companies in the industry.

Stock levels out of sync

Online store, marketplaces and inventory management show different stock levels. Items are sold twice or shown as unavailable even though they're in the warehouse.

Manual order processing

Orders are retyped from the online store, and invoices and shipping labels are created one by one. With every promotion and every season launch, the back-office workload grows.

B2B terms via email

Business customers order by phone or email because the online store doesn't reflect their individual prices, framework agreements and pay-by-invoice option.

Risky platform migrations

A new store system is needed, but well-ranking category and product pages must not be lost during migration. Customer accounts and order history also need to move over completely.

Physical store and online kept separate

The physical store and the online store work with different data. This makes click-and-collect, reservations or availability by store almost impossible.

Approach

How we work

  1. Map the system landscapeWe record which systems you use, where data originates and which system is the master for prices and stock. From this, we derive an architecture that avoids double maintenance.
  2. Choose the right store systemShopware, Shopify or a custom solution? We recommend the technology based on product range, B2B requirements and budget – not habit – and explain the decision transparently.
  3. Automate processesWe connect order, invoice, shipping label and inventory posting into one seamless process. Your team handles exceptions instead of routine, and customers receive shipping and status information automatically.
  4. Launch safely and provide supportWe plan migrations with a redirect plan, test orders and load tests before go-live. Afterwards, we keep the store and interfaces up to date – especially before high-revenue sales events.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions: Retail & E-Commerce

A lean online store or a first sales funnel starts in the Starter package from €2,500. Stores and portals with inventory management integration, customer-specific pricing and custom workflows are in the Professional package from €8,000. Extensive multichannel projects are priced individually in the Enterprise package. You receive the exact price after the free initial consultation.

Yes, that's one of our core tasks in retail. We connect inventory management, ERP, POS systems, marketplaces and shipping providers via interfaces. We check in advance which options your system offers and factor them into the quote.

Above all, a clean migration of data and URLs. We transfer products, customers and order history, create a redirect plan for old URLs, and test checkout and payment methods before go-live. That way, existing search results continue to lead to the right place.

We implement cookie consent, secure logins, encrypted transmission and the integration of your legal texts in a technically sound way. You should have the content of your terms and conditions, cancellation policy and privacy policy reviewed by a lawyer – our information is a general overview and does not replace legal advice.

After the free initial consultation, we analyze your product range, systems and goals and prepare a transparent quote. This is followed by the concept, design with LOMA DESIGN, development on a staging environment and an accompanied go-live. We usually respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
