Short & clear

Shopware development at Nano Concepts covers storefront themes built to your design, custom plugins and apps, ERP and inventory management integrations, B2B features and migration from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6. Smaller customizations or a single plugin are sometimes possible in the Starter package from €2,500, a complete store with its own theme and integrations is usually in the Professional package from €8,000, and large B2B or multichannel projects in the Enterprise package, priced individually; license costs for commercial Shopware editions may be added. It starts with a free initial consultation, after which you receive a transparent quote.

Shopware agency for stores with special requirements

Shopware development pays off above all when your store has to do more than a standard site builder can: many variants, customer groups with their own prices, several sales channels or a range that is updated daily from your inventory management. Shopware 6 provides a solid foundation for this – the real difference is made by the adaptations to your processes.

01

We develop storefront themes to your design, custom plugins and apps, and integrations with ERP, payment and shipping providers. With the Rule Builder and Flow Builder, we map rules and automations, such as shipping costs by region or notifications for certain orders – and only resort to custom code where the built-in tools are not enough.

02

Many retailers also face a migration: Shopware 5 no longer receives regular security updates from the vendor, but moving to Shopware 6 is a real project and not a simple update. We plan the transfer of products, customers and orders, rebuild extensions and set up redirects so that existing links keep leading to their destination.

03

As a Shopware agency, we support merchants whose store has to do more than a standard builder: many variants, customer groups with their own prices, several sales channels or a product range that comes from inventory management every day. Our Shopware developers work with Shopware 6, build themes to your design and develop plugins where the built-in tools are not enough. We also implement a Shopware B2B store with company accounts for multiple employees and individual prices.

04

When you have a Shopware store created, the question of cost comes up early. It depends on product range, integrations and special logic – and on whether the free Community Edition is enough for you or a commercial edition makes sense. We plan the move from Shopware 5 to 6 as a project of its own, with data migration and redirects. Shopware is also suitable for small businesses with growth plans; you receive the exact quote after the free initial consultation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Shopware development

Smaller adjustments or a single plugin can sometimes be covered by the Starter package from €2,500. A complete Shopware store with a custom theme and integrations is usually in the Professional package from €8,000; large B2B or multi-channel projects we price individually as Enterprise. License costs of commercial Shopware editions depend on the vendor and may be added.

That depends mainly on the range, integrations and special logic. A store with standard processes is implemented much faster than a B2B store with ERP integration. We plan in milestones and give you a realistic time frame after the analysis.

As a rule, yes, because Shopware 5 no longer receives regular security updates. The migration is a rebuild with data transfer – and a good opportunity to clean up old plugins and workarounds. Beforehand, we check which extensions exist for Shopware 6 and what needs to be newly developed.

Many stores start with the free Community Edition. Commercial editions add features for B2B, workflows or vendor support, for example. We recommend the edition that fits your requirements – not automatically the biggest one.

As a rule, yes. Shopware offers extensive interfaces; for many ERP systems there are ready-made connectors, while we connect others via a custom middleware. In advance, we clarify which data needs to be synchronized in which direction and how often.

After the free initial consultation, we analyze your store processes and prepare a concept and quote. Development and testing take place in a staging environment that you can review at any time; after launch, we continue to support the store on request.

The Community Edition of Shopware 6 is free to use. In addition, the vendor offers commercial plans such as Rise, Evolve and Beyond with additional features and support; Shopware sets their prices itself. The total cost also includes development, hosting and any extensions – we list these items separately in our quote.

Shopware 6 consists of an administration where you manage products, customers and orders, and the storefront that your customers see. Through sales channels you control shops, languages and marketplaces; with the Rule Builder and Flow Builder, rules and automations can be set up without programming. For special cases, the store is extended through plugins, apps and the API.

Yes, especially with the free Community Edition, getting started is possible. Shopware plays to its strengths mainly when the product range, customer groups or sales channels grow. For a very small store with few products, we honestly also recommend simpler systems if they fit better.

In the commercial editions, Shopware comes with B2B features such as company accounts with employees and roles, order approvals, quick orders or quote requests. Customer-specific prices and product ranges can also be mapped via rules or the connection to your inventory management. Which features are included in which edition is determined by the vendor – we check that in advance for your needs.

In many cases yes – through extensions from the Shopware Store, third-party connectors or a custom integration via the Shopware API. Which solution fits depends on data volume, the desired sync and existing systems. We review the options and recommend the route that runs stably in everyday use.
