Short & clear

Web app development produces software that runs in the browser – such as customer portals, dashboards, booking systems or SaaS products with login, roles and a database; Nano Concepts handles concept, frontend, backend, hosting and operation. Lean web tools start in the Starter package from €2,500, portals with integrations fall into the Professional package from €8,000, and large platforms are priced individually in the Enterprise package. You start with a free initial consultation and then receive a transparent quote.

Have a web app developed: software that works in the browser

A web application is software that runs in the browser – on the office PC, the laptop at home and the tablet on the go. In web app development, we combine the ease of use of modern websites with the power of classic business software: customer portals with login, dashboards with live key figures, booking and ordering systems, or complete SaaS products that you market to your own customers.

01

The biggest advantage is in operation: there is nothing to install and nothing to update on individual computers. We roll out new features centrally, and all users immediately work with the current version. Through roles and permissions you control exactly who sees which data – whether internal teams, field staff, customers or external partners. Where needed, we cleanly separate the data of multiple tenants.

02

From our own practice we know the requirements of such platforms: among other things, we have built a B2B wholesale portal with ERP integration for more than 5,000 items and an e-learning platform for over 3,000 users. Together with LOMA DESIGN, we make sure your web app not only works reliably but is just as clear to use on smartphones as on large monitors.

03

When you have a web app developed, the result is software that your employees, customers or partners use directly in the browser – with no installation and on any device. Typical projects are customer portals, dashboards, booking systems or a web-based database application that replaces scattered lists. As a web app agency from Dudenhofen near Speyer, Nano Concepts handles concept, user interface, backend and hosting. For larger projects we also develop complete SaaS platforms that you market to your own customers.

04

Whether you have a web application programmed or extend an existing solution: it starts with the question of who uses the application and which tasks they complete in it. From that comes a clickable prototype that you test before development begins. After that, we build your web app in stages with visible interim versions. The cost depends on scope – you receive the exact quote after the free initial consultation, preferably at a fixed price when the scope is clearly defined.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Web application development

Lean web tools such as calculators or simple admin interfaces are possible in the Starter package from €2,500. We build portals with login, roles, database and integrations in the Professional package from €8,000. Large SaaS platforms are quoted individually in the Enterprise package.

That depends on the feature scope. A first version with the most important functions is often ready for testing after a few weeks; larger platforms we develop further in milestones. You will receive a realistic schedule after the initial consultation.

We start with a free initial consultation and a prototype of the most important views. Once you approve it, we develop in stages and provide every intermediate version in a test environment. We support you closely through launch and, if you wish, take over operations.

A website mainly informs; a web application lets users get tasks done: sign in, edit data, order, analyze. That requires user management, a database and business logic in the background. The line between the two is blurry – we advise you on what your project needs.

Yes. We implement data protection technically from the start, for example with permission concepts, encryption and deletion periods. On request we host in German or European data centers and support the technical documentation. This information does not replace legal advice.

Yes. If backend and interfaces are cleanly separated, a mobile app or progressive web app can access the same data. If you wish, we build this option into the architecture from the start.

A web app is an application that runs in the browser – users open it via an address and don't have to install anything. A native app, by contrast, is installed through the App Store or Google Play and can access device features more deeply. For many portals and business applications a web app is enough; as a middle path there are progressive web apps, which can be installed like an app.

An idea is enough as a starting point. In the free initial consultation we clarify target audience, core tasks and constraints; from that we create a clickable prototype of the most important views. After that we develop a first version with the central features, which you can test with real users.

Builders are suited to simple forms or lists and a quick start. They hit limits when roles and permissions, integrations with your systems, custom business logic or growing user numbers come into play. A custom-developed web app follows your workflows, can be extended in a targeted way and isn't tied to the feature set of a builder vendor.

Yes. For SaaS products we plan tenant separation, user management, roles and, if needed, the connection of a payment provider for subscriptions from the start. We have experience with platforms in continuous operation from, among others, an e-learning platform for over 3,000 users and our own portals such as Tarifemaxx.de and KreditKoala.de.

Besides development, there are costs for hosting, updates, security maintenance and, where applicable, external services such as email delivery or map services. How high these are depends mainly on user numbers, data volume and infrastructure. We list the ongoing items separately in the quote so you know the total cost from the start.
