Project process: how software development works with us
Structured, transparent and with a dedicated contact person: this is how we take your project from the first conversation to ongoing operations – and you know where you stand in every phase.

Why a clear project process saves money
Software development rarely stalls because of the technology – it stalls because of unclear requirements and late surprises. A defined process ensures that questions are clarified early and decisions are made deliberately.
At Nano Concepts, every project goes through the same phases – adapted to scope and pace. A landing page needs less concept work than a customer portal, but both benefit from clear interim results and approvals.
The phases of software development at Nano Concepts
The time frames are typical guidelines – you receive your specific plan with the quote.
- Initial consultationFree and without obligation: we get to know your project, your goals and your constraints. You receive an initial assessment of feasibility and approach.
- Analysis & quote · 1–2 weeksIn a workshop, we clarify requirements, user groups and interfaces. You receive a requirements document and a transparent quote – preferably at a fixed price when the scope is clear.
- Concept & architecture · 1–3 weeksTechnical architecture, wireframes and a project plan with milestones. You approve the concept before development begins.
- Design & prototype · 1–4 weeksTogether with LOMA DESIGN, we create the interfaces and a clickable prototype. You test the usability before a single line of production code is written.
- Development & testing · 4–16 weeksAgile implementation in sprints with regular reviews. You see interim versions in a test environment, and tests ensure quality.
- Launch · approx. 1 weekGo-live on the final infrastructure after acceptance testing. We support the launch closely, train your team and hand over the documentation.
- Operations & further development · ongoingMonitoring, updates, security patches and new features – during the support phase and, if you wish, under a maintenance contract.

Frequently asked questions
That depends on the scope. A website or a lean tool is often ready within a few weeks; larger platforms we plan in milestones over several months. You receive a realistic estimate in the initial consultation.
Yes. Working in sprints allows priorities to be adjusted. Changes that expand the agreed scope we discuss in advance – including their impact on time and costs.
Regularly, usually at the end of each sprint. You also have access to a test environment and can check the progress yourself.
Every package includes a support phase. After that, we take care of updates, security patches, monitoring and further development under a maintenance contract if you wish.
Paper chaos
Fitter Mo writes hours on paper and keeps materials in his head – on Fridays the paper puzzle begins. Digitised, times, materials and photos go straight into the app, and the invoice goes out the same day.
