Short & clear

At Nano Concepts, IT field service means: an IT technician comes to your site when remote maintenance isn't enough – for break & fix in case of faults, IMAC jobs (install, move, add, change), device and network work or remote hands in the server room; the jobs are carried out across Germany by the IT service partners RELEDER and FAIMA IT Services, coordinated and documented through Nano Concepts. You receive costs as an individual quote based on scope, locations and time windows, as a one-off job or framework agreement – the exact quote follows after a free initial consultation. To place an order, location, task and contact person are enough.

IT field service: IT technicians on site across Germany

Not every IT problem can be solved by remote maintenance. Faulty hardware, new network components or a workstation moving to another office need someone on site. Our IT field service puts a technician exactly there – at a single location or at many branches across Germany. We carry out the deployments together with our IT service partners RELEDER and FAIMA IT Services.

01

Typical deployments are break & fix for faults, IMAC orders (install, move, add, change), the replacement of printers, scanners and point-of-sale systems, network and Wi-Fi work, and rack & stack in the server room. You order a deployment with a clear task description, we coordinate the technician, appointment and materials and report the result back – with a protocol, photos and serial numbers. That way, after every deployment you know exactly what was done.

02

For companies with many locations and for system integrators that look after their own customers, this is real relief: one ordering channel, one documentation, one point of contact. We know how technician software has to work in everyday use from our own development – for example a mobile app for service technicians with offline sync. On request, we connect deployment orders directly to your ticketing system.

03

When a printer in the warehouse fails, a switch needs replacing or a workstation moves to another floor, you need on-site IT service. Our IT field service sends a technician to your location – to a single address or to many branches. We carry out the jobs together with our IT service partners RELEDER and FAIMA IT Services, who operate as field service across Germany. You get one ordering channel and one contact person.

04

Besides break & fix, we handle IMAC services, that is installation, move, addition and change of workstations, as well as remote hands in the server room or data center: replacing hardware, restarting components, checking cabling. Many companies look for an IT technician nearby and ask about the hourly rate first. We price by task, location and time window – as a one-off job or under a framework agreement. After every job you receive a report with result, photos and serial numbers.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about IT field services

We calculate individual deployments according to effort, location and requirements; for regular needs, you receive a quote for a framework agreement. We implement software building blocks such as a connection to your ticketing system, depending on scope, in the Starter package from €2,500 or the Professional package from €8,000. We quote extensive service partnerships individually as Enterprise.

That depends on region, task and availability. A device replacement is usually done faster than a workstation move involving several components. We agree response and service times individually and in writing – we don't make blanket promises.

Deployments are carried out by technicians from our IT service partners RELEDER and FAIMA IT Services. Nano Concepts accepts the orders, coordinates and documents – you have one central point of contact.

Yes. System integrators can order deployments at their customers, for example in regions without their own staff. We agree the process, how technicians present themselves to the end customer and the documentation with you in advance.

By arrangement. Often you provide the hardware or have it delivered to the site; alternatively, we organize procurement. A clear agreement in advance is important so that the deployment doesn't fail because of a missing part.

After the free initial consultation, we clarify locations, typical tasks and the ordering channel and prepare a transparent quote. After that, you order deployments individually or under a framework agreement.

IMAC stands for install, move, add, change – that is, installation, relocation, expansion and modification of IT workstations. It is often extended with an R for remove (IMAC/R), meaning dismantling. Such jobs arise, for example, with new employees, office moves or device replacements and are easy to assign as plannable individual orders.

Remote hands are technicians who perform tasks in the data center or server room for an operator who isn't on site themselves – for example replacing hardware, restarting devices, re-plugging cables or checking the condition of components. The instructions come from the client, and the result is reported back with documentation. We coordinate such jobs with our partner teams.

Break & fix refers to on-site fault resolution: a device or component fails, a technician replaces or repairs it and restores operation. Typical cases are defective laptops, printers, POS systems or network components. We agree spare parts and time windows with you in advance.

With remote maintenance, a technician accesses computers or servers over a secured connection – ideal for software and configuration problems. Field service comes into play when hardware has to be replaced, connected or checked on site. In practice the two interlock: whatever can be solved remotely is solved remotely, and the partner teams on site take care of the rest.

Yes. As part of field service, our partner teams handle network and Wi-Fi work, such as replacing switches or access points, patching work and rack & stack in the server room. We agree scope, materials and documentation with you in advance. Larger cabling projects we assess case by case.
