Challenge, solution, result

01

The challenge

The döner and grill snack bar on Neustadter Straße needed a web presence as fresh as its food: minimalist, modern, with subtle animations – and with everything guests want to know before they visit.

02

Our solution

A fast website with a digital menu, an automatic OPEN/CLOSED neon sign driven by opening hours, custom icons and illustrations, and a brand identity built on black, white, logo red, and the green of the seating benches.

03

The result

Guests see at a glance whether the shop is open, find every dish with its price, and reach the shop by phone call or message with a single tap – on a smartphone just as on a desktop.

Project story

How Dudenhofer Grillhaus came together

01

The starting point: as fresh as the food

Dudenhofer Grillhaus is a family-run business next to the church in Dudenhofen – with burgers and skewers cooked on hot lava stone, döner from the vertical spit, and yufka and lahmacun made with homemade dough. The snack bar on Neustadter Straße needed a presence as fresh as its food: minimalist, modern, with subtle animations, and with everything guests want to know before they visit.

02

The approach: menu, neon sign, and brand identity

The centerpiece is the digital menu with 79 dishes and drinks in 13 categories – with prices by size, additives, and labels such as “vegetarian” or “spicy.” An OPEN/CLOSED neon sign switches automatically based on opening hours, so guests can see right away whether the shop is open.

The brand identity picks up what guests know from the shop: the red logo, the neon lettering on the wall, and the green of the seating benches. Add to that custom icons and illustrations for döner, burgers, and pizza, plus the typefaces Archivo, Instrument Serif, and Tilt Neon. Calling or sending a message takes a single tap, right from the navigation.

03

What it means for the Grillhaus

Guests see at a glance whether the shop is open, find every dish with its price, and reach the shop by phone call or message with a single tap – on a smartphone just as on a desktop. Clear content on the menu, opening hours, and directions supports local search in Dudenhofen and the surrounding area, and the presence is as recognizable online as the shop itself.

How we supported Dudenhofer Grillhaus

As fresh as the food: a digital menu with 79 items, a live opening status, and a brand identity that picks up the neon lettering from the shop.

01

Analysis & goals

The family business next to the church needed a minimalist, modern presence with subtle animations. It was meant to answer everything guests want to know before their visit: What’s on offer, what does it cost, and is it open right now?

02

Structure & menu

The menu was prepared digitally: 79 dishes and drinks in 13 categories, with prices by size, additives, and labels such as “vegetarian” or “spicy.”

03

Brand identity & illustration

LOMA DESIGN picked up on what guests know from the shop: logo red, the neon lettering on the wall, and the green of the seating benches. Added to this are custom icons, illustrations, and the typefaces Archivo, Instrument Serif, and Tilt Neon.

04

Development & technology

Nano Concepts built the fast website and linked the OPEN/CLOSED neon sign to the opening hours. Calling or sending a message takes a single tap, right from the navigation.

05

Upkeep & local visibility

Menus change: depending on the solution, the team maintains dishes, prices, and opening hours itself, or we implement the changes. Clear content on the menu, opening hours, and directions provides lasting support for local search in Dudenhofen and the surrounding area.

Result & value

What the project delivers

Everything before the visit

Menu, prices, and opening status are visible right away – guests know what to expect before they head out.

Call or send a message right from the navigation – on any device, without having to look up the number.

A recognizable brand

Logo red, neon lettering, and bench green tie the website and the shop together into one consistent look.

Found locally

Clear content on the menu, opening hours, and directions supports search in Dudenhofen and the surrounding area.

What we optimised

  • Live opening status: guests see instantly whether the shop is open
  • The complete menu with prices by size and additives on every device
  • Contact by call or message with a single tap

Why it lasts

The clearly structured menu with 79 items in 13 categories can be updated quickly when dishes or prices change, and the neon sign automatically follows the stored opening hours. Because the website and the shop share the same visual language, every touchpoint – online and on site – strengthens brand recognition.

FAQ

Common questions about a similar project

Of course – menus change, and the website has to keep up. Depending on the solution, you update dishes and prices yourself, or you send us the changes and we make them. At Dudenhofer Grillhaus, the menu with 79 items in 13 categories is clearly structured, so updates are done quickly.

The sign follows the stored opening hours and automatically shows whether the shop is currently open. Guests see this as soon as they open the page, without having to read the opening hours and compare them with the time. If the hours change, for example on public holidays, they are simply updated.

Yes, especially for local search. Many guests check on their smartphone shortly beforehand whether the shop is open and what’s on the menu. A fast website with a menu, opening status, and direct contact answers exactly those questions. For smaller projects, our Starter package from €2,500 is a good place to start.
