Short & clear

A good website for medical practices answers patients’ most common questions before the phone rings: office hours, substitute coverage, appointment booking, directions and range of services. It handles health data with care, provides information in line with professional rules and is easy to use even for older people. For orientation, our packages are Starter from €2,500, Professional from €8,000 and Enterprise priced individually – the exact quote follows after the free initial consultation.

Website for medical practices with Nano Concepts

The same questions come up again and again on the practice phone: Are you open today? Who covers for you during vacation? Are you accepting new patients? Can I order my repeat prescription? A website for doctors that answers exactly these questions prominently and up to date takes pressure off your reception. What matters is that your team can change office hours, vacation periods and short-notice announcements themselves – without an agency, without programming skills and in a single place. That saves follow-up questions at the front desk.

01

Many patients now take online appointment booking for granted. Whether you integrate an existing booking service or use a solution of your own, we decide based on your practice workflow: Which appointment types should be bookable online, which only after consultation, and how are urgent cases handled? What matters is that patients never hit a dead end but always know how to reach you – online, by phone or during open consultation hours. Notes such as “Please bring your insurance card” also have their place there.

02

Then there are legal guardrails. Medical advertising must remain factual, the German Therapeutic Products Advertising Act (Heilmittelwerbegesetz) restricts certain depictions, and forms quickly touch health data, which the GDPR protects especially strongly. We build your practice website so that content informs factually, and data is collected sparingly and transmitted encrypted. That includes a consent solution that only loads what you actually use. It does not replace a review of individual content by the medical association, a data protection officer or a lawyer – our notes do not replace legal advice.

What matters with Website for medical practices

Current office hours and covering practices

Office hours, vacation periods and covering practices are maintained centrally and can be found on every page. A notice banner for short-notice changes is part of the package.

Required details in the practice’s legal notice

Besides the details required under § 5 DDG (German Digital Services Act), the legal notice (Impressum) usually includes the medical association, the statutory professional title with the awarding state and the professional regulations – and for practices accredited under statutory health insurance, usually the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (Kassenärztliche Vereinigung) as well.

Factual information instead of advertising

The professional code and the Therapeutic Products Advertising Act require a factual, non-misleading presentation. Promises of cure and boastful comparisons do not belong on a practice website.

Protection of health data

Prescription or appointment requests often contain health data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR. What is needed: data minimization, encrypted transmission, a data processing agreement with the hosting provider and tracking only with consent.

Accessible use

Large type, good contrast and keyboard operation help older patients and those with impairments. Whether the BFSG (German Accessibility Strengthening Act) applies to your site depends on what you offer – building accessibly pays off regardless.

Features

These are the features we build for you

Central office-hours management

Your team changes office hours, vacations and covering practices in one place, and every page immediately shows the current status.

Online booking integration

We integrate your existing booking service with data protection in mind, or build a lean booking flow of our own by appointment type.

Forms for prescriptions and referrals

Lean request forms for repeat prescriptions or referrals – with only the fields the practice really needs, transmitted encrypted.

Service and team pages

Focus areas, preventive care offerings and the practice team presented factually, so patients know what to expect and who will treat them.

Directions and access to the practice

Location, parking, public transit, elevator and step-free access at a glance – information that older patients in particular look for.

Careers section for medical assistants

Open positions for medical assistants and other practice roles with a short online application, optimized for smartphones.

Practical examples

Here's what that looks like day to day

Family practice takes pressure off reception

A family doctor’s practice gets the same calls about office hours and repeat prescriptions every day. The website answers these questions on the home page and offers a prescription form that asks only for the necessary details.

Practice takeover with a new presence

A specialist takes over an existing practice and wants to win new patients without unsettling long-standing ones. The new site explains the transition, introduces the team and keeps the familiar ways of getting in touch.

Group practice with several focus areas

A group practice offers different specialties on different days. The website assigns services and office hours to the individual doctors and guides patients to the right appointment type.

Process

Four steps to your solution

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Website for medical practices

Costs depend on how many service and team pages are created, whether appointment booking is integrated and which forms the practice needs. For orientation: Starter from €2,500, Professional from €8,000, Enterprise priced individually. You receive the exact quote after the free initial consultation, preferably as a fixed price when the scope is clear.

Doctors may inform about their work in a factual, profession-related way. The professional codes of the medical associations prohibit advertising that conflicts with professional conduct, in particular boastful, misleading or comparative advertising; the Therapeutic Products Advertising Act sets further limits. In individual cases your medical association decides – our notes do not replace legal advice.

Besides name, address and contact details under § 5 DDG, doctors usually state the competent medical association, the statutory professional title with the awarding state and the professional regulations with a citation. For practices accredited under statutory health insurance, the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians is usually listed as well. If in doubt, have the text reviewed – this does not replace legal advice.

Most booking services offer a widget or a link, which we integrate to match the design. What matters is whether data is passed on to third parties and consent is required – we clarify that with you beforehand. Alternatively, we build a lean booking flow of our own for individual appointment types.

Technically that works well, but organizationally it requires care because health data is transmitted. The form should ask only for necessary details, transmit them encrypted and land in a protected mailbox or system. Coordinate the design with your data protection officer – our implementation does not replace legal advice.

Ideally before opening, so patients can already find office hours, directions and ways to get in touch. A lean start with the most important information makes sense, growing after opening to include services, team and appointment booking.
