SaaS Development – Multi-Tenant, Billable, Ready to Scale

You don't sell a SaaS product once, you sell it again every month – so it has to run reliably from the very first customer. We develop your software as a service with tenant isolation, subscription billing and operation in the EU, so you can focus on sales and customers.

Short & clear

SaaS development means building software that many customer companies use in the browser on a subscription – with separate data per tenant, registration, roles and billing. Nano Concepts handles product concept, development, payment integration (for example via Stripe), EU hosting, plus monitoring, backups and ongoing development. A SaaS launch typically falls under the Professional package from €8,000; we quote extensive platforms individually as Enterprise projects – you receive the exact quote after the free initial consultation.

SaaS development with Nano Concepts

When you have SaaS developed, you get more than an application: you get a business model in which many customer companies use the same software in the browser and pay for it monthly or annually. To make that work, your product needs more than its core functionality – it needs a foundation that customers barely see but feel every day: registration and onboarding, separate data per tenant, roles and permissions, plans and subscription billing, an admin area for your team and hosting that grows with you. We develop this foundation together with your core function, so you sell on a reliable base from your very first paying customer.

01

The most important architectural decision comes early: how will your customers' data be kept apart? Depending on your target audience, we work with a shared database and strict tenant IDs, or with separate schemas for customers with special requirements for isolation and data protection. Plans, trial periods and feature unlocks build on that: which modules a customer uses, you control in the admin area instead of in code. You roll out updates once, and all customers work with the new version immediately – without installations, special builds or differing versions on the customer side.

02

A SaaS product earns its money after the sale: customers stay when getting started is easy and the software runs reliably. That is why guided onboarding, clear invoices, simple upgrade and cancellation paths and metrics on activation and churn are part of our mandatory scope. In operation, we take care of EU hosting, automatic backups, monitoring and security updates. Together with LOMA DESIGN at the same location, the product interface, product website and pricing page come out as one cohesive whole – so prospects quickly understand what your product does and can start the trial access themselves right away.

One update for all customers

New features go live once and apply to everyone immediately. No special versions, no installations on the customer side.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about SaaS development

Multi-tenant means that many customer companies use the same software while their data stays strictly separated. Each tenant has its own users, roles, settings and content, while you roll out updates centrally for everyone. How strictly the separation is implemented technically, we determine based on your target audience and their requirements.

A SaaS launch with a core function, registration, tenant isolation and subscription billing typically falls under the Professional package from €8,000. Platforms with many modules, interfaces, single sign-on or special requirements for isolation and availability are quoted individually as Enterprise projects. You receive the exact quote after the free initial consultation – preferably at a fixed price when the scope is clearly defined.

That depends mainly on the scope of the first version. We recommend starting with a clearly limited core and adding further modules in stages after launch – that way you reach paying customers sooner. You receive a reliable schedule after the concept phase.

If it is still unclear whether customers will pay for your idea, an MVP is the cheaper test. As soon as the first customers are supposed to pay, you need the SaaS fundamentals: tenant isolation, billing, permissions and reliable operation. We often build both in stages – first the core, then the full subscription product on the same foundation.

We integrate a payment provider such as Stripe that covers plans, trial periods, credit cards, SEPA direct debit and invoices. Upgrades, downgrades, cancellations and failed payments run automatically, and your admin area shows the status of every customer. Please clarify tax questions regarding invoicing with your tax advisor.

We host SaaS products in data centers in the EU and implement encryption, backups, access logs and a permissions concept on the technical side. Because, as the provider, you usually process your customers' data on their behalf, you need, among other things, data processing agreements and suitable privacy notices. We deliver the technical foundations; you clarify the legal design with your data protection or legal counsel – this note does not replace legal advice.
