AI Agent Development for Business – with Clear Permissions and Approvals

An AI agent plans work steps on its own, accesses your systems through interfaces and completes tasks that would otherwise take several programs and employees. We develop agents with tightly defined permissions, human approvals and a complete audit log.

Short & clear

AI agents are applications in which a language model breaks a task down into steps and independently uses tools to carry them out – for example searching the CRM, drafting an email or creating a record. Nano Concepts develops such agents with models like Claude or OpenAI, interfaces to your systems and firm boundaries: limited permissions, approvals for consequential actions and seamless logs. A self-contained agent typically falls under the Professional package from €8,000, while simple assistant functions start in the Starter package from €2,500 – the exact quote follows after the free initial consultation.

AI agent development with Nano Concepts

Anyone who wants to have AI agents developed usually wants more than a chatbot: the AI should not just answer, but get work done. An AI agent is given a goal, such as “Prepare the quote for this inquiry”, and works through it step by step. It looks up the customer in the CRM, checks previous orders, reads the price list, creates a draft and submits it for approval. To do this, it uses tools that we provide to it deliberately – interfaces to your systems, database queries or document templates.

01

The difference from classic automation: a workflow follows a fixed path, while an agent decides within its framework which step makes sense next. That makes it flexible for tasks with many variants, but it requires clean guardrails. We give agents only the permissions they really need, separate read actions from write actions, and have a human confirm consequential steps such as sending, booking or deleting. Every action is logged, so you can trace what the agent did, when and why.

02

Technically, we rely on current language models such as Claude or the models from OpenAI, on tool use and – where it makes sense – on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect systems in a standardized way. As software developers, we build the necessary interfaces ourselves, including to older business applications. We deliberately start with a clearly defined task and measurable criteria, test the agent with realistic cases and expand its authority only once the results are convincing. We document data flows and providers for your data protection review.

Scope of services

What we deliver for you

AI agents that independently prepare and complete tasks across CRM, email and business systems – with approvals.

Task & Permissions Concept

We define the agent's goal, permitted tools, data access and approval points – in writing and verifiable.

Tools & Interfaces

We develop the tools the agent works with: connections to CRM, ERP, ticketing system, email or databases, via MCP where needed.

Agent Logic

Planning, intermediate steps, error handling and termination rules are implemented so that the agent doesn't get stuck in loops or run up uncontrolled costs.

Approval Interface

The agent's proposals appear in an interface, in chat or by email for confirmation, correction or rejection.

Log & Traceability

Every action, every tool call and every decision is logged with its reasoning and can be analyzed later.

Testing & Evaluation

With realistic test cases and edge cases, we measure quality before going live and after every change.

Your benefits

Why companies choose us

Tasks, Not Just Answers

The agent researches, prepares and executes – your team decides and focuses on what matters.

Fewer System Switches

Information from several programs is brought together automatically instead of being copied back and forth between five windows.

Flexible with Variants

Where rigid workflows fail on special cases, the agent finds a suitable path within its framework.

Controlled by Guardrails

Limited permissions, approvals and logs make sure the agent only does what it is allowed to do.

Use cases

Here's what AI agent development looks like in typical industries – concrete examples from everyday business.

Industry & Manufacturing

An agent prepares service calls: it reads the fault report, pulls up machine history and manual references, and proposes spare parts and an appointment.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about AI agent development

A self-contained agent connected to two or three systems typically falls under the Professional package from €8,000; simple assistant functions with a few tools can start in the Starter package from €2,500. Several cooperating agents in business-critical processes are priced individually as Enterprise. Usage-based costs of the AI provider come on top; the exact quote follows after the free initial consultation.

A chatbot answers questions in conversation. An AI agent pursues a goal and uses tools to do so: it queries systems, creates documents or creates records. Many projects begin as an assistant and are gradually extended into an agent.

A prototype for a clearly defined task is often ready after a few weeks. Integration, tests with edge cases and a pilot phase are added before productive use. You receive the concrete schedule after the analysis.

In most cases, yes, provided there is an interface, database access or another reliable way in. If an API is missing, we develop the connection ourselves. Whether that is technically and contractually permissible in a particular case, we check with you beforehand.

The agent receives only the permissions it needs for its task, and consequential actions such as sending or deleting are confirmed by a human. Termination rules and cost limits prevent endless loops, and every action is logged. Errors can't be ruled out entirely this way, but they can be detected early and contained.

Only the data needed for the respective step. We choose providers and settings under which data is not used for training according to the contract terms, with processing in the EU if you wish, and we document all data flows. This does not replace legal advice, but it makes your data protection review easier.
